Description

Casillero del Diablo Red Blend pours an intense, deep purple. It has aromas of ripe black fruit, plum, and black cherry apparent on the upfront. These are followed by dark chocolate notes. The palate is velvety smooth and balanced in texture, highlighting tannins with hints of toast and spice. This precedes a long, satisfying finish.

Its grapes are harvested throughout the month of April and the beginning of May. This is dependent on the peal and ripeness for each variety. Fermentation of the wine takes place in stainless steel tanks, before a blending and aging period of 8 months in French and American oak.

Casillero del Diablo Red Blend is a perfect pair for steak with BBQ sauce, rosemary lamb chops, and spicy ribs.
